Backyard Baseball
Backyard Baseball is a fun and lighthearted baseball simulation game originally created by Humongous Entertainment and released all the way back in 1997, the game lets you step into the shoes of kids playing baseball in various backyard settings, blending casual sports gameplay with a whimsical neighborhood atmosphere. This is a modernized Flash version of the game.
How to play Backyard Baseball?
In Backyard Baseball, you start by choosing a team from a roster of neighborhood squads like the Downtown Thunder, The Rockets, or the 7th Street Sluggers. After selecting your team, you get to pick individual players, each with their own unique stats and personalities. These players are kids dressed casually, as this is a fun, backyard-style game, not a formal league.
The gameplay begins at the Junior level, where you face off against other amateur teams. Each match takes place on different backyard fields. Your objective is to complete various tasks, such as hitting a certain number of home runs or making several consecutive hits without getting struck out or caught. Successfully completing these tasks unlocks new fields and tougher opponents, offering more challenges as you progress.
