Extreme Run 3D is a fast-paced platformer in which you’ll control a bouncy white ball across a treacherous and unpredictable track. There are a total of 41 progressively challenging levels of Easy, Medium, Hard, and Extreme difficulties. Even finishing the first couple of ones isn’t actually a walk in the park, so completing the entire game is a true feat of strength.

The trippy, minimalistic graphics and banging contemporary EDM music won’t really help your efforts either, so the success depends entirely upon your skill, determination, and reaction times. While the game mechanics are fairly simple, executing them perfectly is a totally different ball game, especially since each next level poses a slightly different challenge.

How to play Extreme Run 3D

The speed of the ball and the dizzying track may catch you off guard in the beginning, but after a few attempts, you’ll learn to go with the flow and smoothly traverse the stage ahead. The game isn’t easy, so the misplays are bound to happen — you shouldn’t be discouraged by them but rather motivated to keep pushing forward. Gradually learn from your mistakes and you’ll become much better prepared for the challenges ahead on each retry.

The controls for Extreme Run 3D are yet to be mobile-optimized. Unfortunately, this tricky and trippy fast-paced platformer currently remains a PC browser exclusive. To move sideways, use the A/D or left/right arrow keys. Press the Spacebar/W/arrow key up to jump, the H key to hide/show controls, and the C key to switch from first to third-person point of view.
