Use your voice to control the hen’s movement in an innovative, hilarious, and wildly entertaining Chicken Scream Race! No, we’re not clucking kidding, the pitch of the sounds you make determines how high and far the chicken will jump, and there are plenty of obstacles to avoid en route to the finish flag.

You can play Endless, Race, and Adventure modes, and to make things even funnier, there’s a 2-player mode, too. If you don’t want to play as the brave chicken, there are 5 extra bird Skins to unlock. You can alter the Play Mode from voice inputs to the usual controls, but the gameplay won’t be nearly as hilarious.

How to play Chicken Scream Race

Truth be told, it’s almost impossible to accurately control the chicken with your voice, but it’s certainly fun to at least try. There’s a voice input sensitivity slider that might help you make more precise jumps, but as far as we could tell, it’s usually the smaller leaps that are especially problematic to perform.

To compensate for the unprecedented challenge the voice controls bring to this game, the level design is pretty simple. If you decide to switch the Play Mode and tackle the challenges with the usual control inputs, they might feel too easy and not nearly as entertaining.

What are the controls for Chicken Scream Race?

You can play Chicken Scream Race on both PC and mobile devices. With default voice controls, make a sound to control the height and length of the chicken’s jump. In the 2-player mode, you must make the sounds alternately, that is, if you want to play nice.

If you switch to touch Play Mode, use the W, arrow up, or Space bar to jump while playing solo.
In the 2-player mode, use the W/Space keys as Player 1, and the arrow up key as Player 2.
