FNF: Mid-Fight Masses is a Friday Night Funkin' mod, set in a church against Sarvente, a very enthusiastic nun.

She sings with a neon cross for a microphone, the arrows are shaped like crosses, and it all gets considerably less holy as the week goes on. It is one of the best-loved mods in FNF, and it earns it.

How to Play FNF: Mid-Fight Masses?

Crosses scroll up the screen and you hit each one as it reaches the lane at the top. Land them and the health bar leans your way. Miss too many and it tips to your opponent and the song ends early.

Story mode has three weeks. A Tutorial remix warms you up, then the main Mid-Fight Masses set runs Parish, Worship, Zavodila and Gospel, and Casanova closes things out. Freeplay holds the Tutorial remix for a quick round. There are four difficulties: Easy, Normal and Hard, plus an Alt chart that reworks the patterns instead of simply making them faster.

Tips and Tricks:

• Learn the cross notes: They read differently from normal arrows, so give yourself a practice song.
• Try the Alt charts: They are different patterns, not just harder ones.
• Save Gospel for later: The week ramps up, and it ends in a very different mood from how it starts.
