After the malicious AI has taken over the world, you’re on a quest to dig for precious metals and help humans regain control in Digger Escape. Despite the dramatic comic-style intro, the gameplay is very casual, rewarding, and captivating. Pixelated graphics are awesome, jazz music is chill, and it simply feels great to drive the boring machine.

Played in 2D from the bird’s eye view, you make multiple trips to drill and bore through the bedrock. You’ll harvest dirt, coal, stone, copper, silver, wood, and even some extremely rare materials that end up on the site after a meteor crashes. At the base, you can sell the gathered materials and build facilities that will refine them automatically to earn bigger profits.

How to play Digger Escape

The UI is designed flawlessly, so you shouldn’t have any trouble navigating it. At the base, there are several buildings to erect. At the garage, for example, you’ll upgrade the machine’s components, attach different drill bits, increase the material storage, and fuel tank capacity. Most of the materials you gather can be further refined once you’ve built the necessary infrastructure for it.

Coal can be turned into fuel, while copper and silver can be smelted into ingots for the requirements of more complex quests or simply to sell for more cash. At the laboratory, you can improve many aspects of your base, and at the museum, you can display dinosaur fossils to boost your profits even further.

Click or tap, then hold and drag to control the rock-boring machine, harvest precious resources, further refine them, complete tasks, and earn big bucks.
Alternatively, you can use WASD/arrow keys to control the machine on a PC.
