FNF: NEO is a Friday Night Funkin' remix mod, repainting the whole game in electric pink and cyan.

Same weeks, same opponents, but every character has been redesigned from scratch, and Boyfriend now has a headset and an attitude to match. It looks like the game went to a rave and did not come home.

How to Play FNF: NEO?

Arrows scroll up the screen in four lanes and you press the matching key as each one reaches the top row. Hit them and the health bar leans your way. Stack up misses and it tips to your opponent and the song ends early.

Story mode runs six weeks in order with a difficulty picker, opening on Tutorial and closing on Cocoa, Eggnog and Hallucination. There are sixteen songs in total, and two of them, Illusion and Hallucination, are unique to NEO in place of the originals. Dialogue scenes play before the story songs, and Free Play holds the individual tracks.

Tips and Tricks:

• Play the new songs: Illusion and Hallucination are the parts you cannot hear anywhere else.
• Adjust to the colors: The neon look takes a song or two to read comfortably.
• Use Free Play for practice: Every track is there on its own.
