Touchdown Rush
Touchdown Rush is an American football runner where you carry the ball upfield and dodge every defender.
You see the field from behind your player, number 91, with the goalposts ahead and the stadium lights above. Defenders in red and white come up the field at you, and one tackle ends the run.
How to Play Touchdown Rush?
Your player runs on his own. Your job in Touchdown Rush is to steer him: move left and right across the field so each defender misses, and jump when you need to. The score at the top of the screen goes up as you get past defenders, and the stage number sits next to it.
The developer's goal is to pass all the defenders and score the winning touchdown. Power-ups and bonuses appear on the field, and collecting them makes you stronger and adds points. When a defender brings you down, the Game Over screen shows your score, with one button to restart and one to go home. The level screen has 12 levels. The first is open at the start and the rest are locked.
Tips and Tricks:
- Move early: Defenders start far away and close in fast. Pick a side as soon as one lines up with you.
- Do not stand still: A player left in the middle of the field is tackled within a few defenders. Keep steering.
- Grab what is on the field: Power-ups and bonuses make you stronger and add points, according to the developer.
