How to play Minesweeper
The first move you take is always a shot in the dark, and you’ll have to take your chances with it. You'll notice a number on each of the squares, and it indicates how many mines there are in its adjacency. The objective is to flag all the mines to complete each level.
The best way to achieve victory is to solve the squares placed in the corners first. Place a flag to mark a mine in the corner, solve all the adjacent tiles and work your way from there. Click or tap on the already opened and dealt-with tiles to speed up your progress.
What are the controls for Minesweeper?
Minesweeper is playable on both PC and mobile devices.
If you're playing on a PC, use the left mouse button to open the mine-free squares, and the right mouse button to place the flags. On mobile tap to choose between the mine and flag modes in the upper left corner. If all adjacent mines are flagged, click or tap an open number to reveal all clear squares around it.
