Retrospecter meets you in a washed-out green room, leans in, and puts it plainly: you want into the city, so sing. The mod takes its time - characters talk before the beat starts, each act carries its own menu theme, and the artwork keeps shifting as you push further in.

How to Play FNF: Vs Retrospecter?

Arrows scroll up the screen in four lanes and you press the matching arrow key as each one lands on the top row. Hits push the health bar your way, misses hand it to your opponent, and letting it empty ends the run. Conversations play before a track begins - hold Esc to skip straight to the song - and the menu lets you move between acts before you commit to one.

What Are the Controls?

Press Enter at the title screen to begin. Hit the notes with the arrow keys or WASD, whichever your hands prefer. Enter or Space confirms a menu choice, Esc or Backspace steps back out, Enter pauses mid-song, and R restarts a run that has gone badly enough to abandon.
