Supermarket Simulator
Supermarket Simulator puts you in the squeaky-clean shoes of a grocery store manager with one goal, build your retail empire from scratch. Whether stocking fridges with milk or squeezing profits from overpriced snack bags, this first-person business sim drops you right into the grind of running a shop. You start with an empty store and a dream, then hustle your way to supermarket dominance by mastering logistics, pricing, customer service, and sheer speed. Also known casually as Supermarket Tycoon Simulator by fans, it combines hands-on gameplay with real business decision-making.
How to Play Supermarket Simulator?
You start your day in a modest, bare-bones shop equipped with a laptop, a checkout counter, and empty shelves begging for product. Your first job is to stock up, head to the laptop behind the register and order goods like fruit, juice, milk, chips, and meat. These arrive in cardboard boxes dumped at your store's front door. Open each box and place items on the correct shelf, refrigerated goods like dairy and meat go into the fridge, fruits belong on produce stands, and dry snacks live on regular shelves.
Once stocked, customers start pouring in. When they’re ready to pay, walk over to the register, sit down, and begin scanning their items. Depending on the shopper’s payment method, you’ll either enter the amount into the card terminal or hand back the correct change in cash. Each transaction is a small puzzle, especially during rush hour when multitasking becomes the name of the game.
The real strategy lies in inventory and pricing. You set the prices manually, and not all products are equally profitable. Want to make bank? Focus on fast-moving, high-margin goods. Monitor stock levels constantly, or risk empty shelves and angry customers. The faster and more accurately you work, the more cash you rake in, cash that can be reinvested into expanding your store, unlocking new shelving types, or diversifying your product lineup.
