Zombocalypse is a zombie beat 'em up, a Flash game about one street and an endless horde. Zombocalypse asks a very simple question. How long can one person stand in one street while an unlimited number of zombies arrive from both directions at once? The answer is always shorter than you think, and the reason is always the same: you backed up.
How to Play Zombocalypse?
You move left and right along a single street and attack whatever is closest. There is nowhere to go and nothing to hide behind, which is the design working as intended.
Weapon crates parachute in constantly and each one has limited ammunition, so you are permanently switching between things that are excellent and things that are merely available. The rhythm of the game is the gap between running out of the good weapon and finding the next one.
Tips and Tricks:
- Cut through the crowd, do not retreat from it: Getting pinned against one edge with zombies on both sides is the only real way to die here.
- Grab crates while the street is thin: Reaching for one mid swarm is how runs end.
- Save the heavy weapons for the specials: Ammunition spent on the small ones is wasted.
- Keep turning: Facing one direction for too long is always punished.
