Kogama: Christmas Runner is a thrilling online multiplayer 3D platformer featuring blocky graphics, intricate obstacle-course design, and a festive atmosphere. Played from the usual third-person perspective, the objective is to quickly traverse the tricky terrain ahead and, ultimately, reach the finish flag before the competition.

The entire stage shouldn’t take more than a couple of minutes to complete, but there are plenty of ways to fail until you eventually get there. Even falling off the platforms is still quite funny, though. Upon completing the game, trying to set a better time in the next run is a great method of challenging yourself.

It’s important to notice that the height your jumps will cover depends on how long you’re holding the controls. This is especially important because, unlike in most platformers, you can’t alter the character’s trajectory in midair. Therefore, you must adjust the protagonist’s forward-facing direction meticulously before initiating leaps.

The types of terrain tiles your character runs over are another thing to consider when it comes to maintaining control. While often inevitable, icy surfaces are fairly unpredictable and difficult to survive. To improve your current best time, there are always a couple of extra shortcuts to find out if you care to explore the environment.

Use the WASD keys to move on a PC and the Spacebar to jump. Use your mouse to look around and change the character’s forward-facing direction.
