Galaxy Control is a futuristic base-building online multiplayer real-time strategy set in a future when intergalactic travel and harvesting resources in space are a common line of work. While it visually strongly resembles the all-time classic Starcraft, the gameplay is much more similar to Clash of Clans, for example. Raid other players, build defenses to protect your resources, and join squads to unlock additional content.

Just as with any semi-idle game, you can’t complete this one in one sitting, as your space colony will only thrive if you check back on it on a daily basis. The 3D graphics are actually amazing, and paired with frequent voice-acted dialogues, they capture your attention quickly. There’s a lot to learn about the game, but it’s fairly noob-friendly at the same time, enabling you to jump straight into action.

How to play Galaxy Control

The gameplay is divided into two parts: base-building and raiding. At the base, you can construct a variety of buildings, which essentially can be categorized into three groups: army, resources, and defense. Uranium and minerals are harvested automatically at the extractors, but to collect, you must interact with these structures occasionally.

Just as you raid other players, they can come to steal your resources, so setting up a solid defensive layout is essential. While attacking, you don’t want to overcommit but only use as many units as necessary. Additionally, there are landmines and other traps that can’t be seen, which can devastate your troops if you deploy too many of them from the same direction.
