Go Escape is a minimalistic 2D arcade platform game with a simple yet unexpectedly challenging gameplay that puts your reflexes and timing to a formidable test. You control a ball that, once a hatch opens, starts to slide down the sloped platforms stacked with spikes and other traps that end your playthrough when touched.

Fortunately, the ball is bouncy, so the controls you input make it hop and, if you’re dexterous enough, avoid all the perils on the way toward the final platform. As you progress through the levels, the obstacle-avoiding courses become more complex, demanding a high level of focus to execute the single-touch control perfectly.

How to play Go Escape

The key to victory is inspecting the ball’s behavior closely once you input the jump control. Each hop has the exact same maximum height, but the angle of the slopes the ball rolls across determines its velocity, hence the exact timings you must accurately execute to traverse the stages successfully. All this takes a while to get used to, but once accomplished, the gameplay becomes quite fluid and intuitive.

Don’t let the inevitable failures get the best of you, but learn from your mistakes and try to avoid them in the next playthrough. Timing is essential, so make sure to pay close attention if your inputs were slightly late or early. It’s a game of trial and error, and even the toughest of challenges can be completed if you manage to remain focused and keep trying.
