The ragdoll dunkers are leaping off giant ramps, reminiscent of those you might have seen in Olympic diving — for a very good reason. The rims are so high and huge that not only the basketball will swish through them, but the entire hooper holding it!

Considering this extraordinary and wild gameplay, it’s clear as day that this arcade game has nothing to do with the real game of basketball. Nevertheless, playing it is still an absolute blast despite the fact that the judges will rarely give you straight 10s. What could four white men in suits know about dunking anyway, right?

How to play Ragdoll Mega Dunk

The gameplay is divided into two parts: the takeoff phase and the midair flight control. In the first part, you don’t need to determine the length of the jump but only its direction, which makes your job quite easy. The second phase, however, is a lot trickier, especially at the higher levels.

Fortunately, the ragdoll hooper is fully controllable once he takes flight, and the game enters a slow-motion mode while you’re flipping in the air. This should give you more than enough time to guide the character directly through the rim and perform some truly extraordinary dunks.
