Tile Hex World: Red vs Blue
Tile Hex World: Red vs Blue is a highly addictive stickman 4X real-time strategy game in which the opposing armies are located on tiny islands. To invade and destroy the AI opponent, you must harvest wood, haul it to the Sawmill, and then use the tiles produced to build new hexes of land across the body of water.
The gameplay isn’t overly difficult, but it’s also oddly satisfying, making this an awesome game to introduce younger players to the real-time strategy genre. Despite the simple graphics, the animations are crisp, while the sound effects are immersive. However, this game definitely lacks some background music to make it feel complete.Â
How to play Tile Hex World: Red vs Blue
The AI doesn’t have the ability to build hexes but only works with what’s given to it from the beginning of the level. This essentially means that you have all the time in the world to expand, since they won’t be able to attack until you’ve built a bridge between your isles.
The number of building slots is limited, so you don’t want to rush choosing which structures to erect in certain spots. Barracks, for example, should always be built deep inside your territory, and the marching lines are a natural spot for an automatically shooting Tower. To launch an Attack, you must stand on the indicated spot adjacent to the tiles in which your troops will spawn.
