Backpack Hero
Backpack Hero is a roguelite dungeon crawler where your backpack is your greatest weapon. Every run challenges you to manage space, optimize item placement, and survive randomized dungeons filled with enemies and loot. Instead of simple storage, your bag becomes a puzzle that determines how strong your attacks and defenses are.

How to Play Backpack Hero
In Backpack Hero, you begin each run inside a dungeon with a small grid-shaped backpack. As you explore rooms, you find weapons, armor, potions, and relics. To use them effectively, you must position each one carefully inside your backpack. Item placement determines bonuses and penalties, so strategy starts before you even swing your sword. A sword might deal extra damage if placed beside gems, while armor works best when arranged logically, like helmets at the top and boots near the bottom.
Combat is turn-based. You select items from your bag to attack, block, or heal. Each move consumes energy, so planning ahead is essential. As you progress, enemies become more complex and your bag fills up fast. That’s when spatial awareness and creative rearranging come into play. If your hero falls, the run ends, but you bring back resources to Haversack Hill, your base of operations. There, you rebuild structures, unlock upgrades, and open new characters with different playstyles, keeping each run fresh and challenging.
