Cerkio is an extraordinary mix of brain and 2D shooter games featuring seemingly simple yet challenging gameplay, relaxing down-tempo music, satisfying sound effects, and vivid graphics. The game design is gorgeously minimalistic, and despite the overall comfy vibes, the cleverly implemented details make your simple task quite difficult to complete unless you stay completely focused.

Each level features several black circles rotating around their axis. The blue ball is glued to the first circle, and your job is to shoot it toward the next one. The imaginary line connecting the middle of the circle and the blue ball’s center represents the shot’s trajectory. When the next rotating circle is hit, the blue ball glues to its surface. You must carefully pass the ball around until it reaches the white circle at the end of each level.

How to play Cerkio

The diameter line drawn through the middle of black circles will surely make you miss many shots, but once you let go of the instinct to follow it blindly, you’ll learn to make good use of it. If the ball lands directly at the spot where the diameter line and the circle meet, you’ll have no trouble aiming your next shot precisely. This will rarely happen, though, so it’s important to judge the angle between the intersection and the ball’s position to compensate and shoot accurately.

What are the controls for Cerkio?

By the looks of it, Cerkio seems to have been developed primarily for mobile users, but you can play it without a hassle in a PC browser, too. Tap or click at just the right moment to shoot the blue ball toward the next circle until you’ve completed the level.
