Jetpack Joyride is a delightful and hilarious 2D running game featuring highly replayable and endless gameplay. Inside a clandestine high-tech research facility, the scientists are meticulously developing an advanced jetpack prototype. Their security system is top-notch, and they’ve even installed the “Do not steal” sign next to their glorious invention.

This is when our hero comes into play. Aching for some adrenaline-packed action, he breaks the wall and puts the jetpack on his back. The workers are frantic, and the main protagonist is simply trying to have some fun. Soon enough, rockets are flying his way, laser beams attempting to end him, and your job is to avoid all the obstacles for as long as possible.

How to play Jetpack Joyride

In the first couple of attempts, try to figure out how your jetpack responds to the controls as much as possible. Mastering them is essential for long-term success.

The safest routes to take throughout the deadly stage are usually the ground and the ceiling. There are several lethal security systems you must learn to avoid. For example, at the right edge of the screen, you’ll notice the blinking exclamation mark moving up and down as you progress through the stage. Once it stops blinking, the rocket is locked in and will start flying toward you at the given altitude.

You can pick up several items that will improve the hero's abilities, such as a gravity suit for example. Besides affecting the movement of your character, these boosts also provide an extra life.
