Vex 5
Vex 5 is a stickman platformer where every level is an obstacle course built to get you killed. It follows Vex 4, and the series has one guiding principle: whatever you think the level is about to do, it is about to do something worse.
The stickman is fast, the traps are faster, and you will die a great deal. Restarting a level takes one key press, though, so you end up annoyed rather than defeated.
How to Play Vex 5?
Run and jump your stickman from the start of each level to the finish while dodging everything the developer could think of, from saws to mines to drops you do not see coming until they have already happened. This installment brings new levels, new traps and achievements to chase.
Vex 5 rewards memory as much as reflexes. Die, work out what got you, and go again. When a run goes wrong halfway through, press R and start the level fresh rather than limping on.
Tips and Tricks:
- Learn each level: The traps are the same every time, so every death teaches you something.
- Restart early: If a run is going badly, press R instead of pushing on.
- Slow down near new sections: Most deaths come from running into something you have not seen yet.
