Therefore, the gameplay remains interesting during the entire playthrough. The rules are pretty simple, so let’s get straight to it!

On the rectangular board, there are 24 (4x6) circular holes. Round buttons that fit perfectly into these holes are attached to the ropes’ ends. Multiple ropes of different colors and a different arrangement of the threads in each stage create a complex web you must untangle. To achieve this, you must rearrange the buttons at the ends thoughtfully into other available slots. The ropes are removed from the board once they no longer intertwine with one another.

How to play Twisted Rope

You always want to focus on the most elevated ropes because you can safely move their ends around the board without causing additional twists. Once you spot them, look for an appropriate open circular slot on the board to place the button into. It’s also very important to determine which end of the rope you want to move to make the job a lot easier.

Tap or click on the button at the rope’s end, then hold and drag it into one of the empty circular holes on the board in an attempt to untangle the complex intertwined web of threads across many levels.
