What seems to be the simplest of tasks at first quickly turns into quite a conundrum as additional balls of yarn are gradually introduced.

Each ball is connected to a couple of others with a thread. Usually placed around the edges of countless geometric shapes, the objective is to play with the yarn until the treads no longer intertwine. The cute graphics and relaxing music will capture your attention at first, but the catchy problem-solving gameplay will keep you coming back for more!

How to play Yarn Untangled

The lines intersecting with others are colored pale red, while the ones that aren’t intertwined are pink. Before you start rearranging, take a closer look at the geometric shape you’re working with and try to determine the best course of action. If you make a couple of careless steps in the beginning, the puzzle presented usually becomes more complicated than it was from the start.

Always start moving the yarn that has the most crossed threads because if you find just the right spot for them, it’s possible to solve a couple of problems at once. Pay close attention to the number of threads connecting each of the balls, as this information is crucial to figure out the possible solutions.
