A classic domino set consists of 28 rectangular-shaped pieces featuring numbers from 1 to 6 on each of the sides. Both players have 7 pieces in their yard to begin the round, and the one with the higher double plays first. You can only play dominos with matching values of the ones currently placed on either end of the table.

How to play Domino Duel

For beginners, we strongly recommend starting with playing Classic or Block modes. Fives is definitely the most interesting one, though, in which all the basic game principles still apply, but when the sum of the end numbers of the domino line is divisible by 5, the player earns equivalent points. When a player finishes, the sum of the pieces in the opponent’s hand is added to the winner’s score.

There are as many rounds as necessary until a player reaches 50, 100 (default), or 150 points first. A solid starting strategy is always getting rid of the high-value pieces unless there’s a more beneficial tactical move available. Additionally, you should keep opportunities open on both sides of the table whenever possible.
