FNF: Carol V2

FNF: Carol V2 is a Friday Night Funkin' mod where Carol takes over week three with three rebuilt songs.

It is by bbpanzu, the artist behind Vs Sunday, Date Week and The Holiday Mod, with GenoX supplying Carol's UTAU voice. And these are not the old songs with a new sprite on top.

How to Play FNF: Carol V2?

Arrows scroll up in four lanes and you press the matching key as each one reaches the top row. Landing notes pushes the health bar your way. Miss too many and it tips to Carol and the run ends.

Carol replaces Daddy Dearest's slot for week three, and her week runs Pico, Philly and Blammed, each on Easy, Normal or Hard. All three have new instrumentals, new vocals and new charts, slower and heavier than the originals. Blammed drops from 165 BPM to 110 and is charted to match, so the whole week plays at a different weight. It is set on the Philly night stage with the skyline and passing train intact, and the complete base game is included, with all weeks unlocked from the start.

Note: the mod includes cutscene dialogue for its three songs, but this engine only draws a dialogue box on the final week, so those lines do not appear here. All three songs play through in full.

Tips and Tricks:

• Adjust to the tempo: Blammed is much slower here, so do not rush the notes.
• Go straight to Carol: Every week is unlocked, so her songs are three presses away.
• Compare the versions: The base game is included for playing the originals.
