Golf Solitaire
Golf Solitaire is a quick card game where you clear the board by playing cards one rank higher or lower.
Seven columns of five cards sit face up on the green, with the stock and a single waste pile below them. Suits do not matter here, only the ranks, which makes Golf Solitaire easy to learn and fast to replay.
How to Play Golf Solitaire?
Look at the card on top of the waste pile. The last card of any column can be played onto it if it is exactly one rank higher or one rank lower. The developer's example: a 6 or an 8 can go on a 7. Each card you play becomes the new top card, so a good move sets up the next one and lets you run off several cards in a row.
When nothing on the board fits, click the stock to turn over a new card. The goal is to clear all the cards from the board, and the game also ends when no more moves can be made. You choose Easy or Hard before the deal. On Easy, kings and aces connect, so a run does not have to stop at the king. A timer at the top of the screen shows how long the deal has taken.
Tips and Tricks:
- Plan the run: Before you play a card, check whether the next card in the sequence is also free. Long runs clear the board fastest.
- Save the stock: Every click on the stock uses up a card. Play everything the board offers before you draw.
- Start on Easy: With kings and aces connected, runs keep going for longer.
