Gun Mayhem 2 is a 2D platform shooter where the aim is to blast your opponents off the stage. It is less about defeating people and more about rudely relocating them to the bottom of the screen, which is somehow far more satisfying.

Up to four people can play on one keyboard, and they will all be shouting at each other within the first minute. That is the design working as intended.

How to Play Gun Mayhem 2?

Before a match you customize your fighter: color, facial hair, outfit, and most importantly a perk, a special ability you carry into the fight. Then it is into the arena, where weapons and power-ups drop in crates. Every hit knocks your target back, and anyone who falls off the platform loses a life.

Gun Mayhem 2 has a campaign that unlocks new levels as you go, a challenges mode, and custom games where you set the rules, pick the map and add up to three friends on the same keyboard.

Tips and Tricks:

Stay away from the edges: Fights happen on narrow platforms, and the edge is where lives are lost.
Pick your perk carefully: The triple jump perk is a strong choice for getting back onto the stage.
Grab the crates: New weapons arrive in crates, and a better gun changes a fight fast.

What Are the Controls for Gun Mayhem 2?

Player 1: the arrow keys to move, Z for the primary weapon, X for the secondary
Player 2: WASD to move, T for the primary weapon, Y for the secondary
Player 3: number pad /, 7, 8 and 9 to move, the number pad star key for the primary weapon and its minus key for the secondary
Player 4: number pad 5, 1, 2 and 3 to move, 0 for the primary weapon and the decimal point key for the secondary
