How to play Merge Mercs: Tower Defense TD

Two identical units of the same level can be merged and evolved into a single one of a higher tier. Interestingly, two identical troops won’t necessarily create the same one, as it may turn out to be a completely different unit from your deck. With a lot of RNG involved, the gameplay is very exciting, though frustrating at times, because an unfortunate roll can really mess up your tactics.

It’s important to realize that units of a higher tier won’t necessarily be better, so you don’t want to rush merging if it isn’t particularly useful. A tier 4 unit, for example, is extremely powerful, but two units of tier 2 are still better than a single one of tier 3.
