FNF: Dave and Bambi

FNF: Dave and Bambi is a Friday Night Funkin' mod with over thirty songs and deliberately terrible art.

Dave sits in an office chair in front of a green field and a wall that just says GATE. It looks like someone gave up on the shading halfway through. That is the joke, and the mod commits to it completely.

How to Play FNF: Dave and Bambi?

Arrows scroll up in four lanes and you press the matching key as each reaches the top row. Land them to push the health bar your way. Miss too many and it swings to your opponent and the song ends.

The mod opens by asking whether you want its shader effects: press Y to keep them or N to turn them off, and you can change your mind later in Options. Warmup eases you in, and from there Story mode and Free Play open up the rest of the track list, which runs to more than thirty songs including bonus and secret ones. Score, misses and accuracy sit along the bottom while you play.

Tips and Tricks:

  • Decide on shaders early: If the effects distract you, press N at the start.
  • Play Warmup first: It is there to get your fingers going.
  • Dig for secrets: Some of the best songs are hidden behind the scribbles.

What Are the Controls for FNF: Dave and Bambi?

  • Shader effects on / off: Y / N at the start
  • Start a run: Enter
  • Hit notes: arrow keys or W, A, S, D
  • Confirm / Back: Enter or Space / Esc or Backspace
  • Pause / Restart: Enter / R
