The objective is to form as many different words from randomly generated letters on an 8-by-8 waffle-shaped board within 2 minutes. Each letter has a specific value, and the longer words will add more points to your final score.

The exciting part is that you can even form the L or snake-shaped words, as long as the letter count isn’t higher than 8. A misspelling or nonsense terms won’t be tolerated, as mistakes will subtract points from your score, depending on how badly you’ve messed up. This awesome brain game becomes especially interesting once you start finding creative solutions in all directions!

How to play Waffle Words

Finding even the simplest of words might prove difficult in the first couple of attempts, but don’t be intimidated, you got this! Soon enough, you’ll learn to recognize commonly used syllable patterns and spot longer and more valuable terms.

There’s a neat trick to create additional word-crafting opportunities. If the two starting letters are connected diagonally, you can draw the line toward the next letter in any direction. If the word starts horizontally or vertically, you may make only 90° turns but CAN’T proceed diagonally.
