Tentrix does sound like a clone name of the legendary block stacking game, but this highly entertaining puzzle game is much more than just that. You’ll be stacking Tetris-like blocks on a 10-by-10 board, and the objective is to persist for as long as possible. Fill out entire rows or columns to create space for the next shape. Working with up to three blocks at a time, the board quickly gets crowded, so you must cleverly place the given pieces. The game is over once you’re unable to find a fitting spot on the screen for any of the remaining blocks in your hand.

For example, the biggest block is a 3x3 square, so it’s a good idea to keep a designated area available to house it if necessary.

It’s important to keep looking for solutions both vertically and horizontally. Creating multi-row/column combos is really entertaining, but this strategy is a double-edged sword. Don’t panic even if the board is filled almost entirely. A couple of lucky rolls can clear the board quickly, thus enabling you to regain control and keep playing.
