To win in the World Cup Fever, it’s important to quickly realize that this is more of a pool game rather than a soccer simulation game. You could say that gameplay is almost turn-based, so thinking a few steps ahead is always highly recommended. This unique mix may seem strange in the first few minutes, but once understood properly, the game mechanics become quite interesting.

The full-time whistle is set at 90 seconds, but that’s plenty of time to score (or concede) quite a few goals. Keep in mind that you have no goalkeeper, so make sure to designate a defender to intercept and repel attacks by your opponents. Use the bank shots to surprise your rivals and act fast on a loose ball. Be quick to move the next player after passing the ball to create better scoring opportunities. You don’t have to go after the ball each time you move a player. Well-placed defense is often the best offense.
