Participate in unforgiving arena battles from the bird’s eye view perspective, collect shiny dots to get bigger, slay opponents, and defeat formidable bosses in Grow Wars.io! You can play solo or in the 2-player game mode on the same PC with a friend, but once you get hit, the game is over, and you’re forced to start anew.

Similar to a snake game, your character gets bigger when you devour shiny dots scattered around the map but also by eliminating rivals. All the participants are wielding a sword, and a single blow deletes opponents when performed accurately. The bigger you get, the more area the melee weapon’s swing covers, giving you a competitive edge over the enemies.

How to play Grow Wars.io

Getting to know the character animations is the key to victory in this game. You’ll notice that all the champions are wielding the melee weapons in their left hands, which essentially means that the right flank is usually the vulnerable one. To eliminate opponents without the risk of getting hit, always try to approach them from their right-hand side.

As aforementioned, the green XP bar fills up when you walk over the shiny dots or perform killing blows. The latter is a much more efficient way of evolving your character into the next tier, especially in the later stages of the game. The sprint ability, when used correctly, can make a difference between life and death. Keep in mind that it does deplete your XP bar, though.

Unfortunately, Grow Wars.io is yet to be mobile optimized and currently remains exclusively playable in a PC browser. The controls for both Player1/Player2 are as shown below:
