Tzared
Tzared is a real-time strategy game with castles, civilizations and full army control, solo or multiplayer.
Real-time strategy usually wants an install, a launcher and a spare weekend. Tzared wants a browser tab. It is a proper RTS, and it runs right in the page.
How to Play Tzared?
Choose Single Player to set up a match against the computer, or head into Multiplayer, where rooms list their civilizations, teams and current player counts. You start with a castle and a stock of resources, then expand your base, train units and push into enemy territory.
Units are grouped into Common, European, Arabian and Asian rosters, each with its own attack, range and speed values, and the in-game Guide lists the full stat table if you want to plan properly. Alongside casual rooms there is a ranked ladder, 1v1 duels and a scheduled Pro League. There is also a built-in map editor, saved games and an optional peace time setting for players who like to build before they fight.
Tips and Tricks:
- Read the Guide: The unit stat table tells you exactly who beats whom.
- Use peace time: It gives you room to build an economy before the first attack.
- Start with Single Player: Learn the rosters against the computer before joining ranked.
What Are the Controls for Tzared?
- Select units and buildings: click
- Move or attack: click the destination or target
- Resources: counters along the top of the screen
- Unit details and build options: the panel on the left
- Player list: the panel on the right
Tzared is played with the mouse, so a Chromebook trackpad will do, though a real mouse helps once armies get big.
