cowz.io is a top-down action RPG where the possessed farm animals of Killshire Farms want you dead.

Normally a cow is something you walk past on a country drive. Here, a cow is something that has been corrupted by dark magic and is coming for your face. Bring a sword.

How to Play cowz.io?

You are a lone hero in the once peaceful fields of Killshire Farms. Slash your way through waves of possessed cows and other corrupted animals, pick up powerful loot, and uncover the strange secrets of a land twisted by dark magic. It plays like a compact action RPG, with sword and bow skills, an inventory to manage and a town you can return to.

Equip skills and fire them off with the mouse and the E and Q keys, drink from your bottle to restore health and mana, and use a Scroll of Town Portal to get back to safety. Unidentified items need a Scroll of Identify before you know what you have found, which is a lovely old-school RPG touch.

Tips and Tricks:

Watch your bottle: R restores both health and mana, and forgetting it is how heroes die.
Carry a town portal: A Scroll of Town Portal is the emergency exit when the herd gets too big.
Identify your loot: That dull-looking item might be the best thing in your bag.
