Immortal: Dark Slayer is a Souls-like third-person action RPG game featuring awesome graphics, fluid animations, an extensive storyline, and countless “YOU DIED” screens. This type of painfully hard gameplay definitely isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but the players who like to push the limits of their skill will love every second spent playing.

The upgrades to your health, damage, equipment, and other abilities will make you feel much more powerful. However, if you neglect to perform the defensive mechanics, the mobs at your current level will humble you quickly. There are hundreds of quests, some truly funny NPCs, formidable bosses, and priceless gear to loot. What more could an ARPG lover ask for?

How to play Immortal: Dark Slayer

Your character wields a 2-hand melee weapon and swings it automatically once the mobs are nearby. This mechanic might feel a bit tricky to master in the beginning, especially because you want to try and hit the enemies at max range. It’s very important to study the protagonist and adversary animations closely, as reacting properly to them is key to success.

Check the inventory frequently for potential upgrades and always keep your gear updated. All the equipment can be further upgraded with gems, but you don’t really want to overinvest until you’ve acquired an epic item that you’ll most likely stick with for a while. Approach enemies in between their spell-casting or attack animations to deal damage safely and avoid getting hit.
