Nightpoint.io is a top-down shooter that has been running long enough to build a serious highscore table. The board at the top of the menu is measured in seven figures, which tells you both that people keep playing it and that you are not about to trouble the leaders on your first run.

How to Play Nightpoint.io?

You control a single character from above, moving and shooting at the same time while the pressure builds around you. Score is the whole point, and it feeds a persistent highscore table that the regulars have pushed past a million. You choose between a free-for-all mode where everyone is a target and a team mode where you fight alongside others, and you can spend what you earn on upgrades during a run and on skins outside it. Graphics can be set to High or Low, with a WebGL toggle if performance needs help.

What Are the Controls?

Move with the W, A, S and D keys, and aim and fire with the mouse. The number keys 1 through 4 handle your upgrades during a run. Press Space to dash, which is the escape tool you will lean on most when a fight turns against you.
