Escape from the Super Rainbow Friends and collect stars to unlock different characters in this glorious 2D platform running game. The graphics are fairly simple but really enjoyable, and the same goes for the gameplay. Character models are humorous, and the stages are cleverly designed. Even though you can’t do anything but jump and double jump, using a single command, the game is still quite challenging and rewarding. This just goes to show that sometimes even the seemingly simplest of games can provide hours of an enjoyable experience.

How to play Super Rainbow Friends

All the race participants will keep running forward at all times, and you’re tasked with hitting the jump command at the right time. This sounds simple enough, but it is often easier said than done. You’re forced to start a new playthrough if you don’t cross the finish line within the indicated amount of time.

To jump over larger gaps or higher obstacles, you’ll have to do the double jump. Some platforms along the way are really narrow, and it takes quite a bit of skill to guide your character across. Don’t rush the double jump when attempting very precise jumps. It’s much harder to judge the distance it adds to your leap the further away you are from the landing surface. Instead, use it as your last resort. Wait until your character starts falling, and decide at the very last moment if it needs additional elevation to land safely and continue the run.
